The Remember When Collectibles (otherwise known as RWC-Toys) website has been an ongoing project between the owner and myself. We started with a ColdFusion run web server that read an .XLS file as its database, but then soon moved to PHP and MySQL. The website now runs a highly customized version of OpenCart, an open source eCommerce package. Many of the scripts had to be rewritten to meet the needs of the website. In addition to currently functioning scripts, I had to hand-write a migration script. I have accomplished some work with the DNS servers of his registrar to allow him to receive and send emails to and from his domain.

At this tax and accounting office, I am required to maintain their computer network. The network consists of three servers and about fifteen workstations. My tasks are basically to make sure that the office was running smoothly year round. For this organization, I developed three new servers, providing them with a fully functional domain, active directory, roaming profile, DNS, DHCP, file sharing, printer sharing, and secure remote access to selective machines. As of recent, I have helped the company move their encryption to a higher standard. I set up a 256 bit AES live encryption system so that client information is kept secure. The company has a website that I used WordPress to publish.

When the owner contacted me in mid 2006, he asked for a website to be built. In return, I made a dynamic PHP & MySQL portal which he could log into. He has requested that I make three other websites for his organization.

- BaileyBio Educational Portal (January 2008) View More
I developed this website for a biology professor who taught at a local high school. This website was written in PHP with MySQL database. The administrative features that I wrote include calendar administration, file uploads, news, dynamic links and menus, layout configuration, and a seasonal picture which is viewable on the sidebar. Some of the demands could be met with open source applications, so Plogger Photo Gallery and Simple Machines Forum were used. Every day the website displays a sun and a butterfly, and every night it changes to a moon and an owl; Using PHP and CSS together, I was able to make this possible.

I redesigned the Grafton Public School's website over the summer of 2008. They had needed a security update as well as some general upgrades and they contacted me to do so. Project was done with collaboration with students from Grafton High School and was maintained by students for approximately one year. The school website is now run by SchoolFusion.

Working for the physics department at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, my team and I assist Dr. Zarrillo in creating servers that can simulate traffic conditions.
As part of the team, I...
- Used ArcGIS with MySQL to create dynamic map applications
- Created development environment with Apache, ServletExec, MySQL and PHP
- Integrated Java programs into PHP for various calculations
- Created a script in PHP which fetches data from an external website and archives it into MySQL database
- Designed several database viewers, complete with filters and color coding columns
One of the systems that my team created is currently in use by the Florida Department of Transportation as a Decision Support System.

- Used a GeoIP database to calculate poster location, specific to region and country.
This project is in continuing development and new features are rolled out occasionally.

- Friends of Prospect Park (April 2007) View More
As part of an independent study program I participated in, I developed a website for the nonprofit organization Friends of Prospect Park. This website was done in collaboration with a team of two others, one deigned the logo and one wrote the history pages. My responsibilities were to produce a graphically advanced website that was still easy to browse. Using nothing more than JavaScript and images, I was able to design their website as you see it. Together with the work from the team, this website was created in less than three months.
